Club quiz night

Our next quiz night and ploughman's supper will take place on 1 November. Book your place through Pam or Margaret. £6 per person. Thanks to P and M for organising.

For Sale

We have quite a lot of items listed on the for sale page, so grab yourself a bargain. Don't forget, if you want to sell an item, or post an item wanted notice, you can list it on there.

Silver Salv-ice

The club's Conway Salver has yet to be assigned to a tournament/awarded to an archery category. Please can you let the committee know what you think this salver should be awarded to/for on an annual basis. All suggestions gratefully received.

GNAS Whistle Code

With immediate effect, the club will be using a new whistle system on the field, following GNAS rule changes. GNAS have changed the whistle code to collect arrows from two trumpets to three to tie in with FITA who use two blasts to signify change of detail. The new whistle codes are:

  • One whistle blast: Start shooting
  • Three whistle blasts: Collect arrows

As we shoot under GNAS conditions, we will use these new codes at all times when shooting on the club field. They will also be introduced indoors for consistency. You should start coming across these at tournaments.
